Later in the years, things in the digital world started changing we begin to have an Android Operating system device. Here I will be discussing the Best Android Operating system [today].

When talking about development in the digital world, we ought to understand that there was a time when it was only Nokia 3310, Motorola, Samsung, and so on.

How Android Operating System Was Developed

Android which is a mobile operating system developed by Android Inc which was brought by Google in 2005 and was unveiled to the world in 2007 although the first commercial Android was not released that year in September 2008 it was officially released to the world.

Android is not just given the name, it was removed from the name Andrew and in Greek word the prefix And means man.

So Android became the name of the operating system due to the prefix of the name of the founder “Andy” and the nickname he was being referred to by his colleagues at work “Android”.

The company which was formerly owned by four people which are Andy Rubin, Rich Miner, Nick Sears, and Chris White.

Those four people created Android through the modification of their Linux Kernel with some other open source software.

While Android was still in development one of the founder whose name is Andy Rubin released a statement stating that Android Inc was going to develop “smarter mobile devices that are more aware of its owner’s location and preferences”.

Earlier before introducing Android for smartphones, it was
formerly meant to be used as an operating system for cameras.

In 2005, after Google acquired Android Inc it allowed the operating system to be used by third parties mobile smartphones manufacturers to produce their smartphones for free.

Some years after its inception Google released Android 1.0 and also released its first smartphone “Sooner” which was not released to the public.

After much thought about “Sooner” release, a developer named Troughton Smith reveal the phone which looks more like a Blackberry than the so-called Touchscreen smartphone we expected Android to look like.

Later in 2008, T-Mobile in conjunction with Google released the first official Android smartphone T-Mobile G1 also known as HTC Dream which possesses a touchscreen and also a Querty keyboard.

Just like the saying No business without competitors so quite after the release of the first Android operating system which is the Android 1.0, Android Inc began to face different competitor like the Symbian, Limo and so on.

In spite of that, the company keep researching and later get to the train to develop more Android operating system.

With the kickstart of developing more Android operation system, Google determines to name each Android based on a delicious dessert, with each having a name and statue based on a delicacy. Yes, something like a food isn’t that what you are thinking?

Google also noted that “Since these devices make our lives so sweet, each Android version is named after a dessert”.

So Android is a food for smartphone lover or is Google lying No! because if you lost your Android device or it got damaged, how do you feel for that moment, bad right! So Google is correct.

However, the first Android to come into life was the Android beta and later on Android 1.0 and 1.1 was released.

Android 1.0 was not given a code name, but version 1.1 was given a name but not according to the dessert order but starting from the release of its version 1.5 Google has begun to give a code name to each Android version.
